Luke 9:51-56 - Jesus Rejected In A Samaritan Village
51 The days were approaching for his ascension. He was determined to go to Jerusalem. 52 He sent messengers ahead of him. They entered the village of the Samaritans to get ready for him. 53 They did not receive him because he traveled to Jerusalem. 54 When his disciples James and John saw this they said: Lord, do you want us to request fire from heaven to consume them?
55 He turned and rebuked them. 56 They went to another village.
