Matthew 27:1-2 - Jesus Taken To Pilate

Matthew 27:1-2

1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus, to put him to death. 2 And having bound him, they led him away and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governour.

Mark 15:1-5

1 And straightway in the morning the chief priests consulted with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, and having bound Jesus, carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the king of the Jews? And he answering said to him, Thou sayst it.

3 And the chief priests accused him of many things; but he answered nothing. 4 And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? 5 Behold how many things they witness against thee. But Jesus answered nothing any more, so that Pilate marvelled.
