John 14:27-31 - Jesus' Gift Of Peace
27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You heard how I told you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. 29 Now I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe. 30 I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has no hold on me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
