Acts 14:19-23 - Paul Stoned At Lystra
19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium. And having persuaded the crowds, and having stoned Paul, they dragged him out of the city, after presuming him to be dead. 20 But the disciples having surrounded him, after rising, he came into the city. And on the morrow he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 And having preached the good-news to that city, and having made considerable disciples, they returned to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that it was necessary for us to enter into the kingdom of God through many tribulations.
23 And having appointed elders for them in every congregation, having prayed with fasting, they entrusted them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
