Matthew 13:54-58 - Rejection At Nazareth

⁵⁴ And having come into his native land, he taught them in their assembly, so that they were struck with amazement, and said, Whence to him this wisdom, and powers? ⁵⁵ Is not this the son of the carpenter? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? ⁵⁶ And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then to him all these? ⁵⁷ And they were scandalized in him. And Jesus said to them, A prophet is not unhonoured, except in his native land, and in his house. ⁵⁸ And he did not many powers there, because of their unbelief.
