Joshua 13:15-23 - Reuben's Inheritance
15 And Moses gave to the tribe of the sons of Reuben inheritance according to their families. 16 And their coast was from Aroer on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba. 17 He gave them Heshbon and all its cities in the plain, Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon, 18 and Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath, 19 and Kirjath-aim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar in the mountain of the valley, 20 and Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth, 21 and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon (whom Moses struck with the rulers of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, rulers of Sihon, the inhabitants of the land). 22 The sons of Israel also killed Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, with the sword, among their slain.
23 And the border of the sons of Reuben was Jordan, and its border. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben according to their families, the cities and its villages.
