Galatians 3:27-Galatians 4:7 - Sons And Heirs

²⁷ For all of you who have been baptized into union with Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. ²⁸ There is no room for "Jew" and "Greek"; there is no room for "slave" and "freeman"; there is no room for "male" and "female"; for in union with Christ Jesus you are all one. ²⁹ And if you belong to Christ, then you are true descendants of Abraham and his heirs under the promise.

¹ I mean this: As long as the heir is a minor, he is no better than a slave, although he is the owner of all the property, ² but he is under guardians and trustees until the time fixed by his father. ³ So when we were minors, we were slaves to material ways of looking at things, ⁴ but when the proper time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, and made subject to law, ⁵ to ransom those who were subject to law, so that we might receive adoption. ⁶ And because you are sons, God has sent into our hearts the spirit of his Son, with the cry, "Abba!" that is, Father. ⁷ So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir, made so by God.
