Acts 10:44-48 - The Holy Spirit Given To Gentiles

⁴⁴ Before Peter had finished saying these words, the holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to his message. ⁴⁵ The Jewish believers who had come with Peter were amazed because the gift of the holy Spirit had been showered upon the heathen too, ⁴⁶ for they heard them speaking in foreign languages and declaring the greatness of God. Then Peter said, ⁴⁷ "Can anyone refuse the use of water to baptize these people when they have received the holy Spirit just as we did?" ⁴⁸ And he directed that they should be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on there a few days.
