Matthew 13:36-43 - The Parable Of The Weeds Interpreted

36 Then, leaving the multitudes, He went into the house; and His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."

37 And, answering, He said, "He that sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world: and the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom; but the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39 and the enemy that sowed them is the Devil; and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40 As, therefore, the tares are gathered up, and are burned with fire, so shall it be in the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of the Kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those who do iniquity; 42 and they will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth! 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He that has ears let him hear.
