Matthew 27:62-66 - The Tomb Is Sealed And Guarded
62 On the next day, which is the day after the Preparation Day, the high priests and Pharisees met and went in a body to Pilate, 63 and said, "Sir, we remember that that pretender said while He was living, 'After three days I will rise again.' 64 Issue an order then to have the tomb closely guarded, so that His disciples cannot come and steal Him and tell the people that He rose from the dead, and the last deception be worse than the first."
65 Pilate said to them, "Take the military guard and go and make it as secure as you can." 66 So off they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the boulder and setting a guard.
