2 Timothy 3:10-17 - The Value Of The Scriptures

10 But you, on your part, have faithfully followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, 11 my persecutions, my sufferings, such as befell me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra, such as I endured but the Lord delivered me out of them all. 12 Yes, indeed, everyone who wants to live a godly life as a follower of Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 But bad men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, misleading others and misled themselves. 14 But you, on your part, must continue to abide by what you have learned and been led to rely upon, because you know from whom you learned it 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred Scriptures which can give you wisdom that leads to salvation through the faith that leans on Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God, and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in doing what is right, 17 so that the man of God may be perfectly fit, thoroughly equipped for every good enterprise.
