Luke 17:7-10 - Unworthy Servants

⁷ But which one of you, having a servant plowing or serving a shepherd, who will say to him, having come in from the field, Coming hither sit down immediately? ⁸ But will he not say to him, Prepare what I may sup, and girding thyself, minister unto me, until I may eat and drink; and after these things you eat and drink? ⁹ Whether does he thank the servant because he did the things which were commanded? ¹⁰ Likewise also, when you may do those things which are commanded you, say that, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which we ought to do.
