Mark 9:38-41 - Whoever Is Not Against Us Is For Us

³⁸ John said to Him, "Teacher, we saw a man using your name to drive out demons, and we tried to stop him, for he was not one of our followers."

³⁹ Jesus said, "Do not try to stop him, for there is no one who will use my name to do a mighty deed, and then be able soon to abuse me. ⁴⁰ For whoever is not against us is for us. ⁴¹ "For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink, on the ground that you belong to Christ, I solemnly say to you, he will not fail to get his reward.

⁴⁹ Then John answered, "Master, we saw a man driving out demons by the use of your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not belong to our followers."

⁵⁰ Jesus said to him, "Stop hindering him, for the man who is not against you is for you."
