Morish
Mashiach, the anointed, is an official title in the O.T. of those who were to rule for God. 1Sa 12:3,5; 26:9,11,16; 2Ch 6:42; Isa 45:1. In the N.T. the title is restricted to the Lord Jesus

The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed; whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or from whose hand have I received any bribe to blind my eyes with it? and I will restore it you.

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith to him, We have found the Messiah; which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
The woman saith to him, I know that Messiah cometh, who is called Christ; when he is come, he will tell us all things.
That God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was with him.
