Aphar'sathchites, Aphar'sites, Aphar'sacites,
the names of certain tribes, colonies from which had been planted in Samaria by the Assyrian leader Asnapper.
The first and last are regarded as the same. Whence these tribes came is entirely a matter of conjecture.
