Ar'ba, Ar'bah
Father of Anak, head of the Anakim, who were also giants. Nu 13:33. Their city was Hebron. Ge 35:27; Jos 14:15; 15:13; 21:11. The 'city of Arba' is elsewhere called KIRJATH-ARBA, which was afterwards called HEBRON.
Jacob came to his father Isaac at Mamre in Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had stayed.
