Ar'ba, Ar'bah
Father of Anak, head of the Anakim, who were also giants. Nu 13:33. Their city was Hebron. Ge 35:27; Jos 14:15; 15:13; 21:11. The 'city of Arba' is elsewhere called KIRJATH-ARBA, which was afterwards called HEBRON.
So Jacob reached his father Isaac at Mamre, in Kiriath-arba (also known as Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had lived.

Hebron used to be known as Kiriath-arba, after the greatest man among the Anakim. After all of this, the land enjoyed rest from war.
