Ba'alath-beer
Town in the south border of the tribe of Simeon. Jos 19:8; also called 'RAMATH of the South;' and in 1Sa 30:27 South RAMOTH; and apparently the same as BAAL in 1Ch 4:33.
as well as all the towns around these cities as far as Baalath Beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the land assigned to the tribe of Simeon by its clans.
The gift was for those in the following locations: for those in Bethel, Ramoth Negev, and Jattir;
They also lived in all the settlements that surrounded these towns as far as Baal. These were their settlements; they kept genealogical records.
