Between Kadesh and Bered, in the S. country. Here Isaac lived before and after his father's death (Ge 24:62; 25:11). Identified with a well at Moilahi, a station on the road to Beersheba; near it is the cavern Beit-Hagar. Not to be confounded with the well whereby Ishmael was saved, in Ge 21:19, subsequently.
