Beth-jesh'imoth, or -jes'imoth

Town of Moab, near to one of the stations of the Israelites. It was assigned to Reuben, but was eventually secured by the Moabites. Nu 33:49; Jos 12:3; 13:20; Ezek:25:9. Identified with Sueimeh, 31 47' N, 35 35' E.
