This Eng. word has no connexion with broid. It means to adorn cloth with needlework. The mod. form is embroider. 'Broider' occurs in Ex 28:4 and in 16/10/type/mkjv'>Eze 16:10,13,18; 16/type/mkjv'>26:16; 27:7,16,24. See Embroidery.
