A Levitical town in the borders of Zebulun and Issachar, Jos 19:25; 21:28; 1Ch 6:72. Its site is probably that of the modern Deburieh, a small village at the foot of mount Tabor on the northwest.

Easton

pasture, a Levitical town of Issachar (Jos 19:12; 21:28), near the border of Zebulum. It is the modern small village of Deburich, at the base of Mount Tabor. Tradition has incorrectly made it the scene of the miracle of the cure of the lunatic child (Mt 17:14).

Hastings

A city said in Jos 19:12 to belong to Zebulun, but in Jos 21:28 and 1Ch 6:72 to be a Levitical city in Issachar. Probably it was on the border between the two tribes. It has been identified with Daburieh at the foot of Tabor.
