Hastings

The sign or figurehead of the Alexandrian ship in which St. Paul sailed from Malta (Ac 28:11), perhaps one of those employed to bring corn to Rome. The Twins (Gemini) were the protectors of sailors; in mythology they were sons of Zeus and Leda, and were placed in the sky as a constellation for their brotherly love.
