El'nathan, or Elna'than
(God hath given).
1. The maternal grandfather of Jehoiachin,
the same with Elnathan the son of Achbor.
2. The name of three persons, apparently Levites, in the time of Ezra.
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
