El'nathan, or Elna'than
(God hath given).
1. The maternal grandfather of Jehoiachin,
the same with Elnathan the son of Achbor.
2. The name of three persons, apparently Levites, in the time of Ezra.
Eighteen years old, was Jehoiachin when he began to reign, and, three months, reigned he in Jerusalem, - and, his mother's name, was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan, of Jerusalem.
