The word commonly used for yekeb is "winepress" or "winefat," and once "pressfat."
The "vats" appear to have been excavated out of the native rock of the hills on which the vineyards lay.
The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil.
Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe Come, tread, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.
from that time when one came to a grain heap of twenty measures, there would be only ten; and when one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there would be only twenty.
