Jos 13:5, which shows how wide were the limits designed for Israel which as yet it has not inherited. Of Gebal on the sea coast, at the foot Of the northern slopes of Lebanon (margin 1Ki 5:18; Ps 83:7; Eze 27:9). (But Biblus was the seat of worship of the Syrian Adonis, Tammuz, which the Jews were seduced to worship (Eze 8:14). (See GEBAL.)
