Hazar'-e'nan
The N.E. boundary of the promised land both in the past and in the future. Nu 34:9-10; Eze 47:17; 48:1. Mr. Porter has identified it with Kuryetein, about sixty miles E.N.E. of Damascus, where there are copious fountains, which 'Enan' seems to imply.
Then the border will go to Ziphron and end at Hazar-enan. This will be your northern border. For your eastern border, draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
So the border will run from the sea to Hazar-enon at the border of Damascus, with the territory of Hamath to the north. This will be the northern side.
