Frozen water or snow. God demanded of Job, "Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?" It is answered in the Psalms: it is God who "casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?" Job 6:16; 38:29; Ps 147:17.
