Saul's second son by Ahinoam (1Sa 14:49-50). The same as Abinadab, since his name does not appear in 1Ch 8:33; 9:39, nor in the battle of Gilboa (1Sa 31:2), where Abinadab takes his place.

The Philistines overtook Saul and his sons and killed his sons, Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchishua.
