Reference: Jecamiah

Fausets

One of seven, apparently sons of Neri, of Nathan's line (as was Salathiel, Lu 3:27), introduced into the royal line when Jehoiachin had no child who succeeded to the throne (1Ch 3:17-18). Jeconiah's son Assir left a daughter probably, who according to the law of heiresses (Nu 27:8; 36:8-9) married a man of a family of her paternal tribe, namely, Neri descended from Nathan, David's son. Shealtiel, Malchiram, etc., sprang from this marriage.
