And king Solomon raised forced labor out of all Israel; and the forced labor was thirty thousand men.

And they drew out the poles, so that the ends of the poles were seen out in the holy place before the inner sanctuary, and they were not seen outside: and there they are unto this day.

And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.

And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his place.

And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.

And his allowance was a regular allowance given him from the king, a daily portion for every day, all the days of his life.
