Ma'haneh-dan
'The camp of Dan,' the place where six hundred men of Dan encamped 'behind' Kirjath-jearim on their march towards Laish. Jg 18:12: cf. Jg 13:25. Identified with Wady el Mutluk, 31 46' N, 35 E.
And the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
They went up and camped at Kiriath-jearim in Judah. Therefore they called that place Mahaneh-dan to this day; behold, it is west of Kiriath-jearim.
Ma'haneh-dan
