The mod. form is 'diminish.' 'Minish' occurs in AV in Ex 5:19; Ps 107:39, and RV introduces it at Isa 19:5; Ho 8:10; but Amer. RV prefers 'diminish' everywhere.
The foremen of the sons of Israel saw that they were in trouble because they were told, "You must not reduce your daily amount of bricks."
