And the sons of Judah: Er and Onan and Shelah and Pharez and Zerah; but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.

And the sons of Judah by their families: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites; of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites. And the sons of Pharez: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bore unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Of the sons of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.

And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah, the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;

All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men.

Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; Phares begat Esrom; Esrom begat Aram;

who was the son of Aminadab, who was the son of Aram, who was the son of Esrom, who was the son of Phares, who was the son of Juda,
