An inhabitant of Pirathon. Jg 12:13,15; 2Sa 23:30; 1Ch 11:31; 27:14.

Pir'athonite,

a native of or dweller in Pirathon. Two such are named in the Bible:--

1. Abdon ben-Hillel.
