To 'purge' in AV is simply to 'cleanse or purify,' as Ps 51:7 'Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean'; Mr 7:19 'purging all meats,' i.e. making all food ceremonially clean.
Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?" (Thus He declared all foods clean.)
