In 1Ki 17:22; 2Ki 13:21; Ne 4:2; '/Romans/14/9/type/mkjv'>Ro 14:9, 'to revive' is literally 'to come to life again,' as in Shaks. 1 Henry VI. i. i. 18
And Jehovah heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came into him again, and he lived.
And he spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they make an end in a day? Will they bring to life the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
For I was alive without the law once. But when the commandment came, sin revived and I died.
For this Christ both died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and living.
