Salvation' is the generic term employed in Scripture to express the idea of any gracious deliverance of God, but specially of the spiritual redemption from sin and its consequences predicted by the OT prophets, and realized in the mission and work of the Saviour Jesus Christ.

Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall be still."
The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
Therefore you delivered them into the hand of their adversaries, who distressed them. In the time of their trouble, when they cried to you, you heard from heaven; and according to your manifold mercies you gave them saviors who saved them out of the hand of their adversaries.
Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my Rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my Rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. read more. I call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.
Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to us.
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;
in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,?in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
