Ne 11:5, translated "the Shilohite," i.e; descendant of Shelah, Judah's youngest son; Shelani (Nu 26:20) is changed to Shiloni; compare 1Ch 9:5.

Shilo'ni

Father of Zechariah. Ne 11:5. But the passage may be read "Zechariah, the son of the Shilonite," as in the R.V.

Shilo'ni.

This word occurs in the Authorized Version only in

Ne 11:5

where it should be rendered --as it is in other cases-- "the Shilonite," that is the descendant of Sheluh the youngest son of Judah.
