"Command the Israelites to give cities out of their hereditary property for the Levites to live in and pastureland around the cities.
They told them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan: "The Lord commanded through Moses that we be given cities to live in, with their pasturelands for our livestock." He did away with the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. [They had been] at the entrance of the Lord's temple in the precincts by the chamber of Nathan-melech the court official, and he burned up the chariots of the sun.
As for the court on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the court.
