?????. In 2Co 5:3-4 the reference is to a person raised from the dead and yet found morally 'naked' in his sins before God. In Mt 27:28; Lu 10:30, the A.V. has 'stripped' for the same Greek word.
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
