The border of the tribe of Naphtali passed through 'the terebinth in Zaanannim' (Jos 19:33), and the camp of Heber the Kenite was at 'the terebinth in Z. which is by Kedesh' (Jg 4:11). It is probable that the preposition 'in' (be in Heb.) is part of the name, which should then be read Bezaanannim. The site is unknown. A plausible conjecture is that it was Khirbet Bessum, E. of Mt. Tabor.
