A Benjamite city (Jos 18:28), where was the family burying-place of Saul (2Sa 21:14 [here RV needlessly confuses by writing Zelah]). Its site has not been discovered.
Zela, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah and Kiriath-jearim--fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the people of Benjamin according to its clans.
And they buried the bones of Saul and his son Jonathan in the land of Benjamin in Zela, in the tomb of Kish his father. And they did all that the king commanded. And after that God responded to the plea for the land.
