Zo'rathites
Family descended from Shobal, son of Judah: probably so called because of inhabiting Zorah. 1Ch 4:2. Called ZAREATHITES in 1Ch 2:53.
and the families of Kiriath-jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites and the Mishraites; from these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
Reaiah the son of Shobal became the father of Jahath, and Jahath became the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the families of the Zorathites.
