And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

Let them bring them forth, and show us what shall happen: let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare to us things to come.

And you said, I shall be a lady forever: so that you did not lay these things to your heart, neither did remember the latter end of them.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
