And he asked them, "How many loaves have ye?" They said, "Seven."

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, gave thanks, brake, and gave to his disciples, to set before them. And they did set them before the people.

And they ate and were sufficed, and they took up of the broken meat that was left, seven baskets full.

"When I brake seven among four thousand how many baskets of the leavings of broken meat took ye up?" They said, "Seven."

There were seven brethren and the first took a wife, and when he died left no seed behind him.

And seven had her, and left no seed behind them. Last of all, the wife died also.

In the resurrection, then, when they shall rise again: whose wife shall she be of them? For seven had her to wife."

When Jesus was risen, the morrow after the Sabbath day he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he cast seven devils.
