The sons of Elkanah: Amasai, Ahimoth and Elkanah.

The sons of Elkanah: Zophai whose son was Nahath,

and his son Eliab and Jeroham his son, and Elkanah his son,

and Samuel the son of him. And the sons of Samuel: the eldest Joel and then Abijah.

The sons of Merari: Mahli, and his son Libni, and his son Shimei, and his son Uzzah,

and his son Shimea, and his son Haggiah, and his son Asaiah.

the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Melchijah,

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

But Aaron and his sons burnt upon the altar of burnt offerings and on the altar of cense, and were appointed unto all that was to do in the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel in all points according as Moses the servant of God had commanded.

These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar, whose son was Phinehas, and his son Abishua,

But the country and villages pertaining thereto, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the franchised cities, Hebron and Libnah, with their suburbs; and Jattir and Eshtemoa with their suburbs;

And unto the sons of Kohath the remnant of the kin of the tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

And unto the sons of Gershom among their kindreds were given out of the tribe of Issachar and out of the tribe of Asher and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

And unto the sons of Merari were given by lot among their kindreds and out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

And concerning the sons of Kohath, the cities of their coasts were of the tribe of Ephraim.

And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs among the kindreds of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

And unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the kindred of the half tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan with her suburbs and Ashtaroth with her suburbs.

The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puah, Jashub and Shimron, four.

The sons of Tola: Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam and Shemuel which were heads in the ancient households of Tola and men of might among their kindreds: the number of them in the days of David were two and twenty thousand and six hundred.

The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, Obadiah Joel, Isshiah, five head men in all.

And among them in their kindreds and ancient households six and thirty thousand men prepared to war: for they had many wives and sons.

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher and Jediael, three.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth and Iri, five heads of ancient houses and men of might and were in number twenty two thousand and thirty four.

The sons of Becher: Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth and Alemeth.

The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud and Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish and Ahishahar.

All these are the sons of Jediael and ancient heads and men of might seventeen thousand and two hundred that went out to battle.

The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer and Shallum, the children of Bilhah.

The sons of Manasseh: Asriel which Aramea his concubine bare: she bare also Machir the father of Gilead.

And Machir gave to Huppim and Shuppim wives. And the name of his sister was Maacah. And the name of another son was Zelophehad. And Zelophehad had daughters.

And Maacah the wife of Machir bare a son and called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh and his sons were Ulam and Rakem. The son of Ulam was Bedan.

These are the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir the son of Manasseh.

And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi and Aniam.

The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, whose son was Bered, and Tahath his son, and his son Eleadah, and Tahath his son,

and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead. And the men of Gath that were born in the land, slew them, because they were come down to take away their cattle.

And he went into his wife which conceived and bare him a son, and he called the name of it Beriah because it went evil with his household.

And Rephah was his son: whose son was Resheph, with his brother Teleh, whose son was Tahan,

and his son Ladan, and his son Ammihud, and his son Elishama,

and his son Nun and his son Joshua.

and along by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean with her towns, Taanach with her towns, Megiddo with her towns and Dor with her towns. In those dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Isvi, Beriah and Serah their sister.

The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel which was the father of Birzaith.

The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, Bimhal and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.

The sons of Shemer: Ahi, Rohgah, Jehubbah and Aram.

And the sons of his brother Helem were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh and Amal.

The sons of Zophah: Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,

The sons of Jether, Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.

The sons of Ulla: Arah, Hanniel and Rizia.

Benjamin begat Bela his eldest son, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

And the sons of Bela were Addar, Gera, Abihud,

And these are the sons of Ehud, ancient heads among the inhabiters of Geba which carried them to Manahath:

Jeuz, Sachia and Mirmah. These are his sons being ancient heads.

The sons of Elpaal were: Eber, Misham, and Shemed - which built Ono, Lod, and the towns belonging thereto -

Michael, Ishpah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah.

Obadiah the son of Shemaiah the son of Galal the son of Jeduthun. And Berechiah the son of Asa the son of Elkanah that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

And Shallum the son of Kore the son of Ebiasaph the son of Korah with his brethren the Korahites in the house of their fathers had their business and office to keep the door of the tabernacle: for their fathers in the Host of the LORD kept the entering.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them before the LORD, which was with him.

And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah kept the door of the tabernacle of witness.

But certain of the sons of the priests were set to make sweet savours.

And Matiithiah, one of the Levites, the eldest son of Shallum the Korahite, had the oversight of the things that were baken in the frying pan.

And other of their brethren, the sons of Kohath, had the oversight of the shewbread, to prepare against all Sabbaths.
