"Speak unto the children of Israel, and say, 'If any man among you or your children after you be unclean by the reason of a corpse or is in the way far off, then let him offer Passover unto the LORD:

And the Levites shall do the service in the tabernacle of witness and bear their sin, and it shall be a law forever unto your children after you: But among the children of Israel they shall inherit none inheritance.

Then the priest must wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; after that he may enter the camp, but he will remain ceremonially unclean until evening.

“The one who is clean is to sprinkle the unclean person on the third day and the seventh day. After he purifies the unclean person on the seventh day, the one being purified must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he will be clean by evening.

After they set out from Kadesh, the entire Israelite community came to Mount Hor.

So Moses made a snake of brass and put it on a rod; and anyone who had a snakebite, after looking on the snake of brass, was made well.
