And while they were gazing after him into the sky, two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them,

Now the day after, when they were on their journey and were near the town, Peter went up to the top of the house for prayer, about the sixth hour:

And a voice came to him, After rising, Peter, kill and eat.

And after this was done three times, the huge sheet-like container was lifted back up into the sky.

And after calling out they asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, lodges here.

But while Peter was musing upon the vision, the Spirit said to him, Lo! three men are inquiring after thee.

But after rising, go down, and go with them, doubting nothing, because I have sent them.

So he took them in for the night. And the day after, he went with them, taking some of the brothers from Joppa with him.

The word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching the good news of peace by Jesus Christ,??e is Lord of all,??37 you know; the word which was [preached] through all Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism which John preached,

And he directed that they should be baptized in the Faith of Jesus Christ; after which they asked him to stay there a few days longer.
